A40 Hunter
Hawker Hunter on the roof of Vanguard Storage, north side of the A40, just east of Greenford.
It's got the serial WT555 as far as I could make out from a quick glimpse as I passed it yesterday.
If genuine, that makes it the 1st production Mk1. Seems like a fairly important aircraft to have sitting on a roof.
Looks to be in good external condition, though.
Who owns it? It's come & gone from this location a few times.
Mark.

It is genuine and the orig prod a/c. Because of this at one stage I tried to get a Museum to buy it but it was snapped up by the current owners before the admin wheels could grind.
