I heard a very interesting talk about an expedition to test a theory of the disappearance. It was given by a radio ham who was on the expedition. He and others from the club at Collins Radio provided the radio technology and consulting to the expedition.

He showed a TV program from the US Public Broadcasting System which covered the expedition.

They're nearly positive their theory is correct, though the engine on the ship gave out and they had to limp home after the speaker (an Iowa farm boy) had made an emergency repair.

I'm sending you contact info by PM.
