We need a old aeroplane film clip - lets show ...
I watched the Natural World prog. on B2 last night, a sort of comparison between man-made aviation and natural aviation.
Inevitably, the same old tired piece of pioneering film footage was totted out, the aircraft with the Venitian blinds for wings that collapses, the rocket power bike that falls over, the stem-powered ornithopter etc etc etc. you all know the one I mean.
But does anyone have any history of these 'aircraft' - can we, collectively, put a name, date etc to any of these aerly pioneers?
