New Mosquito

I think reference has been made here before of Glyn Powell's project to built a new Mossie from scratch, here is an update.

This link http://www.nzfpm.co.nz/articles/mosquito.htm
shows the project as it was about 7 years ago as the fuselage moulds neared completion.

A tv news item this evening showed the completed fuselage out of the mould. The canopy frame is in place and is glazed as is a clear panel on the right side of the front fuselage.

From what I saw of the brief shots inside and out, the craftsmanship looked to be superb.

Glyn and his helpers are about to start on the wings so hopefully the project will gather pace now.
