Excellent stuff one and all, very stunning pictures.
God I wish I could have made it today. I did have a good excuse though, I went to see my grandaughter for the first time (I'm only 45) she is beautiful.

Lots of nice views and nice pics, but the best picture of the whole day was Airbedane's smile now that he is back serviceable!
Nice day and good to have you back. Even the young MM enjoyed himself, said it was much better than a day at School!

Extremely jealous, no envious is the better word, of everyone fortunate enough to be at OW.
Wishing to go one better than having the Blackburn as wallpaper for my computer, how about a screensaver? Does MOTF or DamienB have the ability to make a screensaver from a selection of their 100th anniversary photos? Say sold for a £10 donation to the SVAS?
Cheers, Merry Christmas, Happy flying for 2004

Small fun biplanes
MOTF
Thank you!
Have sent mail to owners of the "magnolia Pitts", G-IDDY, and BXTI telling them to have a look.
Just a shame that the sun was on the downwind side for departure.
Great photo of mine for my "hero wall"!

17th December at Shuttleworth
A big thank you to everyone, visitors, volunteers, pilots, staff and the press for turning up at Shuttleworth on Wednesday and making it a wonderful tribute to 100 Yrs of Flight. The weather was perfect and with everyones support it turned into an excellent day to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
I am glad we had some first time visitors and I hope you will all come back and see us during the flying season.
Thank you all once again for supporting the Shuttleworth Collection.

WELL THAT DID IT!!!
Just like someone posted earlier. I am a shy retiring flower and don't post very often, leave alone actually go up to people and say " do you Prune? ".
However, may I please add my sincere thanks and appreciation to all at OW last week. As someone who owes his whole working life of 30+ years to aviation and still can't believe how lucky he is to still be involved with it, it was a historic day. How better to celebrate the 100 years of flight?
All the more enjoyable since it wasn't advertised as far as I know, and so you knew that everyone who attended were committed air-heads.
I too made the firm resolve to join SVAS and help in whatever way I can to support the collection.
My first job in aviation in 1969 had me working as a general dogsbody at Coventry, and I well remember having to clean Hairyplanes Falcon EEG, so it was also lovely to see it flying on the day.
Apologies for the rambling, probably won't post again now for months.
