White Waltham wartime charts
Does anyone have or know where I can get a airfield chart for White Waltham from during the war? Have searched online to no avail. Would be interested to compare it to how the airfield is today.

Maidenhead Heritage Centre
The Maidenhead Heritage Centre was running an exhibition last month on White Waltham and had both old charts and aerial photos of White Waltham. Unfortunately the exhibition closed on the 27th September but it may be worthwhile contacting them to ask if you can have a look. The staff are very helpful.
There was talk of transferring the exhibition from the Heritage Centre to the West London Aero Club but I am not sure if that is still going to happen. Have a word with Catherine Loudwell at the West London Aero Club as she was trying to organise it.

The RAF Museum Library ( called Doris ) has 2 maps on white waltham
Record Site Plan 38380, DRG 3385, poss 1955
Location Plan 38381, DRG 3381, poss 1953
It may be possable to get them to send you an copy of these plans if you ring them. ( They will charge for them )
