Never going to happen. Qantas has CASA wrapped around their finger.

Jetstar had 3 unfilled SYD Narrowbody Commands after the last allocation.

Theoretically you could get a DEC, if not probably take just over 12 months to do your 2 sim checks.

SYD based.

I appreciate that thanks.

Do you include the nepotism of the hiring of relatives with little or no experience over very experienced candidates like from QLink ?

That ain’t changed.

Who in your view has the entitlement issue ? the one whose Mummy or Daddy was in QF with no experience, or the person with 5-10 years working for a QF subsidiary?

Can't say I've seen anything from your rants first paragraph.

On the second, yes, in the very smallest number of cases. Everyone is pretty bloody good to fly with TBH.

At least relatives with little or no experience can provide an accurate estimate for arrival in the circuit champ.

I am pretty sure SWH would be all over picking a circuit arrival time. Am pretty sure he has practiced that all around the world. On a network with lots of destinations.
But you did use champ, so I guess you know best.

Interesting to review the time lines to command. The current time to command for the most junior on the fleets:

A380: 31 years SYD
B787: 27.6 years PER
A330: 25.6 years PER
B737: 8 years SYD
A321: 6 years SYD

Things are looking up. :ugh:

These numbers have changed already since the last bulk allocation
