Chief Pilot B757/767 via seek
Hi all
Starting international ops early 2021 which seems unlikely regards comments for AOC completion times on other threads. A new operator OR extension of Airwork freight ops OR.......?? Cheers |
May be off base here, but I didn’t think a 757 had casa approval. It would match the types used by dhl in nz. |
There’s currently one 757 registered and operating in Aus (PQA), so I don’t think CASA has any problems with them.
The seek ads are listed under ‘Complete Aviation Services’. Is that the same company that operates Metros out of Perth? Metro to 757 is quite a jump. |
The listing is for a company called Complete Aviation Solutions, not Services.

Looks like the company doing the recruiting is an aviation consulting firm based in Brisbane. Just google the company name and their website will appear.
They have also advertised for a Head of Airworthiness and Maintenance Control and a Safety Manager. I’d assume there would be quite lot of good talent currently on the market to choose from to get them started. Bit of a gamble in these hard times, however it could do well given that it will probably take 9 to 12 months to get through the certification processes. |

You just hope MJ has nothing to do with it.

I believe it is for the new Amazon base. Startup once construction of the processing centres is complete
|
Mail-man,
The 757 had been on the CASA register since the 1990’s when AWAS had one operating for DHL out of Bahrain. VH-AWE |
Perhaps sooner than your mentioned time frame Duck, as a few months ago there was an advert for persons to work on a Freight AOC.
Could therefore be that the AOC process might be more advanced than being suggested? |
probably the same fools wanting to run 737’s from SAABs 🤦♂️

Could be correct SB, the advertised positions are for CASA approved position holders.
|
But do the appointees get paid while all the gearing up goes on?.
