Livelife09, Air NZ don’t want to hire anyone into the jet fleet for the foreseeable future, even if you are the Airbus chief pilot. They want to promote within from the turboprop fleets. And they DO NOT hire DEC. AirNZ is a legacy airline that has a seniority list which is king, not a low cost operator that hires low hour DEC Captains. You will find the most junior and ‘inexperienced’ Captains at Air NZ have in excess of 8000hrs total time, which makes them quite experienced by world standards.
I would suggest looking at Asia for a DEC job or an f/o job with Jetstar or Virgin. Good luck.

Do you have the right to work and live in New Zealand or Australia? 99.9% of the time we have the required pilots to fly jets in the pool of locals.

do they offer New zealand bases as well and what they ask?
I mean CAA or CASA license

Thanks

Well jetstar NZ is a lot easier to get into than Jetstar Australia and you can do leave without pay to Jetstar NZ from the Australia outfit.

as for the rest I’ve thrown you a line .. call/email Jetstar Or read the Advertisement for the job and find out ...
