Qantas to start weekly Hobart to Ningbo, China flights, carrying milk | afr.com

Hobart-Ningbo is 4,500 nm plus as the crow flies. 50,000 litres of milk is 50,000kg plus packaging. QF Freights 763F can lift about that but doesn't have the legs. Guess it might just make it from Cairns. The economics of carting what is 90%+ water around in an aircraft is another matter. I know some is/was being carted out of Sydney to Shanghai but believe there have been various issues especially given the short shelf life and importation problems that suddenly arise if the market is overstocked. Good luck but get the freight paid up front.
