Australasian Aviation Employee Survey 2014
Hi friends. It's that time of year again where I ask you to take 5 minutes to fill out our Employee Engagement survey. Remember the results of this baby are used for various reasons but primarily to allow us to respond to airlines that say their workers satisfied or maybe supportive of things the management team are doing when that may not necessarily be the case.
Last year the results were again collated and printed professionally then dropped into 226 mail boxes in parliament house. The good thing about this survey is that the results allow us to compare one employer against another and of course, unlike the airline internal surveys, this one is made available to all and sundry. This year we are also very interested in expanding it to our NZ friends and provision has been made for you guys participate as well. You can all participate by following the link below - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/AusSurvey2014 You can also view the results from last year on the ALAEA website here - ALAEA - Aviation Survey Results 2013 cheers Steve P |
Hoping the mods here could maybe sticky the thread for a couple of weeks please???
|
Thnx mods.
A feature of our surveys has been the fabulous photos we use in the printed version of the results. For ALAEA members we are running a photo competition with fantastic prizes, as we did two years ago. I will post of few of them here just to add a little more interest to the thread. |

FED sec or PM?
Steve, are you aiming to be the next Bill Shorten? Looks like it on TV and blogs. Try sticking to Union matters.
|
I've never been a member of a Political party and have no intentions of joining one. My work is purely for the advancement of our members and the industry we work in.
|
Steve doesn't have enough skeletons in the closet to be Bill 'slush fund' Shorten. And there are FAR worse people who do want to be him. Steve is far better off being Steve, he's proved he doesn't need to run anyone else's race.

Pleased we have hit 300 responses in the first 24 hours. Thank you.

Clearly irony and sarcasm are totally lost on you Steve. It's embarrassing to have to explain it to you, but the Elaine I speak of with such love and affection is actually a man! Call me a mysoginyst if you must, but it is how I see things. Your reality must be very different.

Our dearly departed brother Arty Van Rensbeurg. Moved to Aus in the late 80's. Resigned from South African in true fashion walking in to his Supervisors office, placing his resignation letter on the table and landing a right hook between the Supervisors eyes knocking him out cold. |

Another fine LAME who is watching from above, Robert Stolk who started his apprenticeship the same day I did on 29th Jan 1986 (not a good day for space travel). I think Johnny Hall the toolcrib Operator has also moved on, maybe someone could confirm. I haven't seen him walking the streets of Easy Keilor for many years. |

Pleased to have passed the 800 response mark. Keep em coming all.

Steve, I have a few good photos that you lot could use, however I think the prizes are pretty average.....
|
I think they are better than nothing -
The prizes for each category are: 1st Prize - $100 Bunnings Voucher 2nd Prize - $50 Bunnings Voucher 3rd Prize - $30 I-Tunes Voucher There are 3 categories. Not bad if you just have some photos sitting on a computer. More importantly they can be used by the ALAEA to create professional presentations to promote our work. Sorry Pilots the actual competition is just for members. Two years ago I was sent some fabulous photos by a Captain that were used in the 2012 booklet. If any non members feel inclined to assist by building up our bank of useable pics feel free to email me - [email protected] |
Yep Tommy is still Tommy !!

Responses now approaching 1200 guys so please keep them coming. I will post some more pics soon.
