Front line: new laws will make it illegal for big businesses to cut their prices in a bid to wipe out smaller rivals (ABC TV)

The Federal Government will make it illegal for big businesses to cut their prices in a bid to wipe out smaller rivals.

New laws will be unveiled today to better safeguard small businesses by making it easier for the competition watchdog to crackdown on predatory pricing.

Federal Small Business Minister Craig Emerson says the move will keep more players in the market to keep prices low.

....Not to mention a large transport company as well

They should also look at the government "preferred list" of tenderers.
