red tails or orange stars?

Hey David
last time I looked the 330-200's were for Jetstar - is the paintwork just a promo or a kreepy krawly to help make up for the other delivery delays?

"last time I looked"

At what?

As far as I'm aware all new A330's are for Qantas. Jetstar got 2 more, but they've been in service for months now.

Could we have a retro painted jet? Everyone else is doing it...

What's with the F- (or frog) rego! on the 5000th bus?

Nepotisim 17th Dec 2007 14:45

They all have frog rego until it is handed over, where the VH rego is added.

Kanga,

Two gorgeous old girls

... so no real need for the airline to do it.

Short_Circuit,

Boeings get N- reg before delivery; Airbuses get F- reg. Until delivery, they are owned by the manufacturer (which why Airbus's insurer and not Etihad will be picking up the tab for the recently-totalled A346... :\ :hmm: ) so it's a French-owned aircraft until delivery.

Example:
N52017 became OO-THC.

Thanks, my mistake, I thought I saw a pic of it at Toulouse with VH-EBG rego :O
