BubbaJ - as far as I can tell VB recruitment is a total lottery!

I'l second that slice.
Seems pretty centred around the almighty 'blue star'. Also HEARD that 3000hrs is the magic figure?????????????

New type heads up

To all at the sharp end: from an ATC (RTF) standpoint is "E (as distinct from echo) JET" for (E170/E190) a satisfactory description of this type? The alternative, with respect, is too long.

Sarcs 19th Oct 2007 11:19

Do you mean like..."ABC behind the E-Jet on final line up''.......??

WynSock 19th Oct 2007 11:27

All traffic Coonabildumbana CTAF, Virgin thirty five twenty one an Embraer One ninety e-jet taxiing for brisbane runway two four traffic Coonabildumbana.

E-Jet RTF

Prescisely. " Behind the landing E-Jet, line up behind". You guys are quicker than I imagined. Must be the pointee end stuff!

Mistysea 19th Oct 2007 11:42

Well done winsok, you got it.

AlJassmi 19th Oct 2007 14:28

How about "behind the Embraer"....

dreamjob 19th Oct 2007 14:38

There's too many different Embraers flying around!

"Behind the Virgin E-Jet" is best. :}

sinala1 19th Oct 2007 14:57

I would suggest "behind the Embraer 170/190" etc is good... Although given the fact that it is a relatively new type to Aussie skies might require it to be preceded with the relevant operators name eg "Behind the Air North/Virgin/SkyAirWorld Embraer 170" etc

aulglarse 22nd Oct 2007 09:51

How about...."line-up behind the Ve-Jet".......
