NJS Pay/Conditions
Anyone out there shed some light on the pay and conditions at NJS?
Cheers |
Am loathe to reply to this, due to tiredness of hearing " bitter and twisted "
Basically Heywatch, it's one of the best GA jobs in Oz, alot of good people to fly with and as a 146F/O ( which is probably what you'll start as, depending on experience ) you will get close to 80k a year, which, if the reserve bank  off, is quite liveable. Downside, one word pretty well covers it.....................management, or more so, mismanagement, and you're a contractor, of which you will be continually reminded of every day in one way or another.....................damn, " bitter and twisted " I was doing so well there for a while:ugh: |
What's the current pay for 146/717 Captains?
|
Have'nt been there for a while but it was around 120k, and I'm pretty sure it has'nt gone up, there was rumour it may be going south.

Interesting, I was wondering where Virgin plucked their numbers for the Embraer from.
Would I be right in saying: NJS 146 Capt = 127K VB E-Jet Capt = 127K (112K + 15K retention bonus) |
Don't know.
maybe, wonder whether the rest of their T&C's are similar? |
o/t at 77 hours, 215ish, 146 the same.
I guess 127 sounds right with the 2 CPIs since the intro of 717 ( if you signed AWA ) Thanks clarry, me too  |
At what point does overtime cut in at NJS and whats the rate?
The 146 pay is less?? PS whats the story with the 717? leases, are they up soon? QF happy with the 717 operation?? |
