Just come back from a holiday in Toulouse in June. All assembly of the 380 has been stopped. One Qantas a/c in the hangar, another set of wings outside collecting bird poo. Qantas have been told they can have one delivered in Oct/Nov 2007. ONE? What are they going to do with ONE????:O

Give it to Jetstar of course!

EBD, so it's not all bad news, eh?;)

1. Holiday in TOULOUSE? Surely there are nicer parts of France??!! 2. That was June - around the time the delay announcement was made and Airbus said then that production had stopped whilst they fixed the problems (eg. length of wiring harnesses, etc.). So the question is, now that it's September, has production re-started? |
Jet* International A380s
Who was the ex-RAAF (now QF) simulator instructor who recently found out he will be instructing in the A380 SIM, and was allegedly quietly asked (again very recently) by the Company, "Would you have a problem instructing JetStar guys on the A380?"
:mad::mad: With the announcement imminent of yet another delivery delay, the longer the A380 takes to get here, the sicker and sicker it looks for QF long-haul to be crewing it. Don't get your hopes up ladies and gentlemen !!! :ugh: |
