Well evidently NJS have done a deal subject to completion of contracts, paying money etc.
Don't know what the status of employment will be and how many they will keep. So good luck everyone.

I was told yetserday that NJS have an agreement and signed a contract with the administrator and they are just awaiting an outcome of a court case to finalise the transaction.

Have heard on the GV that NJS are only going to put 5 X 200 series B727 into operation and that they will only be taking a max of 15 current crews as an interim as they have many long serving employees with plenty of 727 time, considerably more than some of the more recent hires of TAAE.
Word is a lot of the TAAE crews will be left high and dry.

Now that's interesting leftfrontside.
There are only two Captains I know of in NJS that have "considerable" time on the 727. There are currently 17 Captains (read: crews, plus a couple of part timers.) at TAA, four of whom are checkies. If JetEx require 15 crews for their 5 aircraft, that leaves an excess of two (2) Captains.
How do you figure that this will "leave a LOT of TAAE crews high & dry" ?
Wind up maybe ?
