The elusive third1

Heard from a very high up banker that there are two reps from a plane maker here talking to some serious money men about a possible capital city connect service. Any body heard any thing?

Not another one. Please....

Until their first aircraft takes off I won't believe it.

And if Rex ties up with Virgin as the media have been speculating of late, it'll make it all the harder.

Until the third aircraft takes-off and flies for 2 years or so you mean !!
Just wait for the Singapore rumours to start again. Although they must be watching the latest EK info with great interest. Particularly as the new generation acft have the legs to overfly their little island.

My contact tells me one of the main players really spat the dummy when the manufacturers rep moved a step furthur towards assisting a new or existing AOC and they found out. Seem to think they have sole rights to the particular manufacturer. Strange considering who they are!
