What happened at Gould NT

Report in the NT news states that a glider pilot praised the pilot of a single engine Cessna who landed on a World War 2 airstrip near Batchelor.

A spokesman for Northern Air Charter confirmed their Cessna had made a "precautionary landing" on the Gould airstrip at the week end.

The glider pilot, who witnessed the landing, said he was impressed by the way the Cessna pilot landed on the old runway.

Anyone know the details?
