Paradise Air - Aust to Bali flights ???

Has anyone heard of a possible new entrant in the Australian skies, Paradise Air. I have heard very little other than its a possible joint venture with former Ansett staff and are looking to service the Aust to Bali route. Any info would be appreciated.

Training; recency low priority in Indonesia !!!!

Bums on seats more important

Note lots of A310 rated pilots in Indonesia, including the AW Air International Pilots who lost their jobs not so long ago.

No jobs for expat pilots or engineers is my guess

Howdy all

The launch date will be 28OCT with bookings available from 23SEP. The IATA code of AD has also been reserved, with the airlines Head office based in 'downtown' Kuta, Bali. 2 x ex SQ A313s have been confirmed.

Regards

A mate of mine (Ex-AN) toddles off there to start the cabin crew training next week.

Believe some of the cabin managers are ex AN.

The Airline is allegedly using SQ leaseed A310 equipment and is owned by the owners of the Bounty Hotel and bar in Bali.

Good luck to them.

Bali capacity sucks at the moment.

Well what do you know my middle daughter is staying at that hotel as we speak.

I'll ask her to check it out in the front bar.
