So what's all this about? Are they introducing a new type?

Together we’ll achieve the introduction, roll out and delivery of the aircrafts into the Network Aviation business
short flights long nights

15 x A319 ‘aircrafts’ reportedly coming. Not sure who’s going to fly them, reckon that would be job no.1 for this Project Manager!

But the ad seems to be a replacement for a existing position rather than a brand new "exciting" expansion, so probably business as usual, whatever that business is.
They'd need to find another 50% above what they have now just to crew them - plus C/Crew and engineers too. Given that you'd have to say the old Dutch Oven doesn't have much time left.

Network's F100 replacement plan was probably QQ's E190s, but with that project delayed by the ACCC, they will keep them on as long as they can get the parts to support them - and indications are that there are real limits particularly in supporting the Tays if they need work. Until then, little choice but to keep the F100s going until QQ comes inhouse. The A319s may replace some F100s, but any frames it releases will be chopped up to keep the others going, just as VARA have done.
