Take 2 for VPD: DRW to MCT (and assumedly onward to DOH)

https://flightaware.com/live/flight/VHVPD

Rumours going around that QR bought the 4x ex-VA owned 77Ws directly off the lessors (who in turn bought them off VA's mortgagers during the bankruptcy process) and will eventually part out the ex-VA 77Ws as spare parts for QR's own legacy 77W fleet.

At least one of them is running around in an all white livery operating QR scheduled services.

A quick search would indicate that 2 of those are busy operating for QR. A7-BOE and BOF were VPE and VPF respectively.

The other ex-VA unit was reported to be in a hybrid white livery with QR decals on it.

Both 77Ws reportedly still in VA config, including the "EconomyX" branding and the VA 'branded' bar, so I can't see the ex-VA units (or the ex-CX 77Ws for that matter) being long term 'active' members of the QR 77W fleet.
So it wouldn't surprise me if the rumoured acquisition as a 'spare parts machine is the case.

Next up is the Borghetti Jet out west. I see Heston are still trying to find Engineers to work on that project, all going to plan they reckon she will be out in May

Would be lucky to get that thing defect free by Xmas. She won’t be pretty. Just send the bill to John. Wipe every last cent that guy has, should be in prison.

Aw, it's become a fixture of the West. Just plonk it on a plinth and make it a gate guard already.
