FAA Proposes secondary flight deck door barrier.
Proposed for NEW aircraft, two years after the legislation is passed but ALPA wants it retrofitted!

My humble opinion is ( if it has to happen) on narrow body jets put a cage door further aft so that the toilet and galley 1L area is secure to exit the flight deck.

It is not a wind up.

Here it is from the FAA…https://www.faa.gov/newsroom/faa-mov...rement-forward
Of course this rule would only affect US operations and even then only for new build aircraft.
