Air Niugini take delivery of Dash 8-400 on 26th May 2022
Sitting on the tarmac today is a freshly painted Air Niugini Dash 8-400 registered N145VE and will become P2-PXS according to local news.
This is the third Dash 8-400 for PX after a previous government sold the Dash 8-400 fleet hoping to have an all jet airline. The aircraft in question turns out to be the old Dash 8-400 P2-PXS from 4 or 5 years ago, and has been bought or leased again and the old registration re-applied.
Good move, very reliable aircraft. Pension off the tired Fokkers...

Link PNG.
Time for the vintage Fokkers to be towed over to the grave yard with the others and the DC-3.
When are the 787’s arriving to replace the last remaining vintage 767?
The only remaining 737 is also looking pretty tired!
