Alliance F50s

I saw on Facebook that apparently Alliance is finishing up with the F50 on Sunday, 18th of April (QQ3216).

Can anyone confirm this? If true then it is the end of an era for Fokker 50 aircraft in Australia which have flown in Australia since the mid to late 1980s.

A bit sad if true but all things come to an end.

Cheers.

It seems they will be retired. I wonder if they will fly with another company in Australia or leave Australia? If they leave then it would be the end of an era for the F50 as they have been flying in Australia since the late 1980s and I think Ansett was Fokker's launch customer for the F50.
