RIP Skippers E120
The last Captain on the E-120 at Skippers has retired. Once a great fleet will now be put up for sale, the rumour is a local operator is looking to buy the best ones through a third party to take over the government work in their own right.
No Captains, no trainers, no SIM instructors. Apparently the Company refused to pay what the check and trainers asked so now 6 planes will be scrapped if a buyer can't be found.
So many people had their first turboprop command on once what was a great fleet. Due to management incompetence, the type is now dead.
Rumour has it that SQ is so obsessed with cost-cutting and keeping the Metros busy, he is ignoring the F100 and Dash fleets putting jobs at risk.
