Will we ever see an Ejet in Qantas / Qantaslink colours?

Pionair's second Ejet will be delivered later this month according to this article.

https://www.ch-aviation.com/portal/n...add-first-e190

It appears that Ejets will be the replacement type for the older generation regional jets, like the Fokker F70/100 and BAe146 / Avro RJs with loads of cheap first generation E190/E170's flooding the second hand market. So far, we have Air North, Cobham, Alliance and Pionair operating Ejets in Australia. I recall AJ tossing up between the Ejet and the Airbus A220 a few years ago for its fleet replacement strategy. Will we ever see an Ejet in Qantas / Qantaslink colours?

think the E190s of Alliance or perhaps Pionair, might end up doing some thin trans-tasman routes for Virgin like NTL/AKL & BNE/DUD.

I think you are more likley to see orange and silver A320s repainted into Qantaslink colours than you are Ejets or 220s

Old, labour intensive and shortage of parts.

With Delta retiring most of theirs you are probably right, but if network is anything to go by then A320s are not too big if they are free.
