More Importantly; Airlines PNG does not exist. The company was renamed PNG Air some years ago prior to the introduction of the ATR aircraft.
Mr. Bloomberg is so far out of date
I thinks its owned by the National Super Fund, so unlikely
They seem to be doing plenty of Government flying...

I think it’s Wimbles that is using the old name (I do the same sometimes and know of others that still call it MBA). Bloomberg have the correct name in the article.

Think you will find the AOC etc is still APNG, it’s purely a marketing thing with regards to PNGAir.

And there by all debit are still APNG. PNGAir could be considered solely as a trading name.

MBA eventually went bankrupt but the Wilds had already created the company APNG if SP hasn’t fried my memory.

They'll probably weather the storm. Tropicair apparently is on very shaky ground, but probably not of interest to Bloomberg.

TropicAir owned by RH which is logging, vision city, hyper mart, tufi dive, forestry produces, the whole of Bulolo, Cosmo, just to name a few....

More chance of EVERY other airline / charter company closing before them.

You might be correct, but then:

How much logging do you think the Malaysians are doing right now?
Vision City? Mostly closed
Tufi Dive? Can’t see tourists queued up at the moment
Forest products? How they doing?

Aviation is an expensive business, especially when your bleeding from every other limb. The other sectors aren’t immune to COVID 19 either. Medevac would be a good earner right now if they hadn’t been caught by the government doing something shonky at the start of the ban.
