A sad day for many, Roger was a passionate aviator who touched many lives from EastWest, to Ansett, to GA, GAPAN, Swinbourne and finally Tocumwal.

May he Rest In Peace.

If it's the Roger I'm thinking of, did he own a Chipmunk at Moorabbin in the late 1990's?

While Roger and I were with Ansett at different times, I only met him through the Chipmunk world - a very nice man indeed. My condolences to Patricia. RIP Roger.

Roger conducted my initial F/O check to line when I joined East-West many years ago. Now I'm the usual bitter and twisted Ol' checkie,, but still aspire to the standards Roger instilled in me while at E-W.

A thorough Gentleman.

Agreed.

If one can make it through life and the consensus is such, it’s a pretty fair result, all things considered.

Vale Roger. We are poorer for your passing.
