The airlines said if the bid were rejected it could result in Qantas reducing the frequency of, downgrading or even cancelling its A380 service between Sydney and Dallas/Fort Worth, while American may further reduce service between Los Angeles, Sydney and Auckland.
So the message is clear, approve this or we MAY cancel flights. More QF bullying. I heard Napoleon blaming PAPL for the possible cancellation of aircraft orders and direct Australia - France flights. Remember the call to the government a few years ago, drop the QSA or we will collapse.

Thought for more than a second AA in the title was for the LITTLE aa - Alliance Airlines. And the ACCC had let the QF takeover through.

Looks like it is allowing Qantas to commence 2 new routes; Brisbane - Chicago and Brisbane - San Francisco.

Good to to see them doing something new with the 787’s rather than simply replacing 744’s.
