CASA Annual Report

Why would the Australian Regulator feel the need to put a picture of a NZ registered aircraft on the front cover?

Maybe CASA would not give approval for such a formation?

Why would you ever know a CASA Annual Report existed? Did you Google "cure for insomnia"?

It's not a Kiwi aeroplane. It's an A350 XWB in Airbus promotional colours.

Devil

? Did you Google "cure for insomnia"?
I once googled 'Insanity,' and one of the things that popped up was

CASA's re-write of Aviation Legislation.

Slight thread drift .....

Nocookies | The Australian

The institute previously has estimated that red tape reduces economic output by $176 billion a year, the equivalent of 11 per cent of gross domestic product. “This means each Australian household would be $19,300 better off each ... year (if there were no red tape),” the report says.

Folks,
And we well know that CASA are the masters at producing paralyzing and extraordinarily expensive red tape, that has absolutely nothing to do with reducing risk (other than financial risk) in aviation, but all about micro-management.
And the prime motivator for the micro-management --- CYA to prevent adverse criticism of its "safety" obligations activities, which, for reasons CASA obviously do not understand, perversely but inevitably, results in inferior risk management (aka safety outcomes) results and continuing criticism.
Tootle pip!!
