First photos: QF B789 in full livery
AusBT has a series of pics of VH-ZNA in full livery sans the name, ready for final flight tests before QF takes delivery, the pics are on their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/AusBT/posts/1806538362719662, I'll reproduce my two favourites here.
nice and shiny but the Roo is wrong - looks like a pterodactyl
Trivial but just curious as to why there is no kangaroo on the engine cowling as the A330 & 737 have it.
Next time you see a Jetstar B787 have a look at the cowls. Might give you a hint.

That they are white and they will pool their reversers and have kangaroos on the orange star?

I believe that the control of the boundary layer airflow around the engine nacelle is quite critical where the thickness of the paint is one of the criteria. Painting the abortion of a caricature of a kangaroo logo on the cowls would probably have a negative effect on the aircraft's range.
The "flying kangaroo" on the nose section looks great, as does the aircraft in general.

I can see these 787s are going to be the cleanest planes in the fleet, not because they want it to be but because it has to be. Dirt on the fuselage has also been shown to negatively affect few burn and therefore range. Boeing did a study on it a while back
