Mind you, Xi’an is smog central.
Hunt around there are many more options in China, this one appears to pay at the lower end. I've seen contracts ranging for a narrow body mid to high 300's.
Nearly half a million Aussie to fly a 737 in China.

Not all parts of China are chocking in smog. Big country.
I can certainly see how it appeals to some. Those nearing retirement can top up and live more comfortably. Those that are young might see it as an opportunity to fast track to an early retirement. Leaving a mainline gig is certainly a risk but in my career I've noticed that fortune favours the brave.

I hear China Southern have a commuting contract, although I stand to be corrected.
given the required numbers being thrown around, this type of recruitment will end up being the game changer!

Obviously it has changed since I was there last Bereal (last year) yes there are worse (West) and better (East) but the bluest blue sky day in China is still over the WHO long term damage level, that brown muck on a clear day is not from combustion heaters.
