Agree with cogwheel. Just lately there appears more termination than moderation with threads. Not a criticism, just an observation.

We all know who the troll is. Not a pilot, or even in the industry, but gains some sick pleasure from throwing rocks. Obviously out of envy.

I exposed his little secrets here a while back and he quietly retreated back under the rock he crawls out from for a long while. Now he's decided to crawl out again.

I'd say the mods could see your thread degenerating thanks to his trolling. Quite why they don't just ban him completely I'll never know.

May I simply draw the attention of one and all to the calendar, observe that many absent friends are missed and offer best wishes to all.

You've been around long enough to know the reason your thread disappeared. For many years the topic of your thread was forbidden on PPRuNe due to the conflicting passions it excited. We've relaxed or relented slightly in recent years, until conflicting views are posted, when the thread "disappears" without comment.

That will continue to be our policy. There are other web sites where discussion on that topic are possibly welcome.
