F70 into Devonport

Hi folks

Anyone know what the Alliance F70 has been doing flying into and out of DPO over the past week.

Very nice to see and hear but the Tays do not produce nearly enough "crackle".

Best regards

Most likely a MEL charter or charters Rotor.

Although with zero cargo max BRW may not be a problem ex WNY (sorry - BWT).

Do you or anyone know if they were reconfigured out of the 48 seat execjet setup back to 70 seats or not?

If they didn't the firefighters who were down here definitely deserved the small extra level of comfort. They were all bloody gems!

I would have given my left main gear to see the DC10 ex AVV waterbombing from 200 feet though.

Just something about those lovely big old 3 holers.

Best all

back to 80 seaters.

1 is fitted with business class seats up the front.

Interesting there is a 767 VIP coming down under to be based in aus i hear via a refueller.

The F70's are 80 seaters not 70.

Thanks XPT.

Is that a small fuselage extension from the F28-4000?

I think EW ran 36 inch pitch rather than the Alliance 33 for a 72 seat config.

33 inch is still pretty decent.

All the best
