If it's the A330, Richard Branson introduced it seconds before it flew over the MCG, wing to wing, seemingly just above the light towers.

Yep, did the Cup after the fly over, you can see the fly over in yellow very low altitudes so close to the CBD

Thumbs up

Just goes to show that we live in an age where taking offence counts more than actually achieving anything.

Great move VOZ. Very clever even if the professional offence takers don't like it.

Boeing also did this with their B747-8i "painting" the number 12 for the Seattle Seahawks....whoever they are. Sorry, there are other sites about this but the one I have found will have to do:

Superbowl - a Boeing is painting huge number 12 - praising the lousiest fans and the "12th player" of Seattle Seahawks. - 9GAG

And Bullwinkle- The Virgin "finger' is not really real- its on The Shovel which is:

"The Shovel is Australia’s satire news website. That means the stories on this site are made up. Yep, even the one about Vladimir Putin marrying himself. The exception is for stories about Clive Palmer. We don’t make those ones up. He does"

And lets not forget Boeing's 19-hour effort when they wrote the 787 & Boeing logo across North America during certification testing...

Plenty of bugsmashers with things like APRS/SpiderTracks/SPOT get into things like this too, downloading their Google Earth tracks.
