The folks who are behind the Docker Fokkers hedged their bets this year. WCE fans were allowed to register for a seat in the event the Dockers lost. The Docker Fokker will still go, it will just be full of blue and yellow.

And the irony of all this is that the players all fly commercial in economy!

I am surprised that by now the Perth teams don't have a private jet or long term charter contract between them given the amount of travel they do.

Not all in economy Neville. The last flight I did with AFL players on board there were 8 of them in business. Maybe leadership group? Captains mates?

Back in the days when Qantas flew the AFL players, a particular Brissy 737 Captain with connections to a few of the Lions players, "managed" to operate most, if not all, of the team's flights around the country.

It was not unusual for the flight to return from interstate at lower (cabin) altitudes to facilitate the improved recovery from soft tissue injuries to the players.

Ozjet 732's were used a couple years ago with Charters / AFL teams.

I'm actually suprised that some teams dont have a VIP Aircraft!

I'm not so surprised.By going with with VA or Q,there is a much larger fleet to call on in the event an aircraft goes tech.

The dream's pretty good lemel at ¼ time, 3.4.22 to 0.2.2 in favour of the Roos. Could be a pretty good match.

The dream was better at ¼ time, acceptable at ½ time, and went south, though not too far, from there.

A foreign-controlled airline masquerading as Australian ripping and gouging Australians.

Imagine the demand and prices if the dockers made it too.

Does the aeroplane just arrive in PER via a portkey to carry the Muggles to MEL for the Grand Final, or does it actually have to fly there?
