Tiday, August 24th
What was August the 24th?
A genuine question, why do those involved think that a 30% payrise was considered to be acceptable?
Only being a youngen (4 years old) when this occurred, I don't know all the details. But from what I've read, it appears that there was a lot of want, not a lot of give.
Then years later, when Virgin, then Jetstar, then Tiger started up, many were more than happy to come back onto much lower wages than the average at the time.
I'm just not seeing the logic behind all the fallout.
