Lockhart River - 10 years on. For our loved ones
Rather then dwell on the system that failed all our loved ones who lost their lives on the 7th of May, I want to remember how special and blessed we were to have known and loved them.
My late husband Paul will remain forever in my heart and I will always be grateful for the years I shared with him.
RIP
always
Fiona

Condolences will ever be yours Fiona. Most who have followed the tragic
story are moved and humbled by the stoicism that you and those who lost
irretrievably that day have displayed. Grief is not a static thing, but the last thing the griever wants to hear is the platitude that time heals all.
'A time to laugh and a time to weep.'

RIP
We do all remember them Fiona and weep with you in proper remembrance.
We remember Paul, Sally, David, Frank, Fred, Mardie, Robert, Edward, Kenneth, Gordon, Noel, Arden and Helen - Timothy and Brett
The industry weeps for the loss of all those "souls-on-board".
Lest we forget
We also remember a system that has failed them with the disgusting current and past behaviour of the owners, regulator casa and the Coroner.

I concur with the above two statements and the sentiment of the overall replies. I won't forget this tragedy.

Shane talks about Lockhart River tonight
The following was posted following an interview with Shane Urquhart tonight on the eve of the 10-year aniversary.
It is a 20-minute recording but gets to the heart of the problems at that time and how they affect us into the current period.

Trust you are doing well Fiona and getting on with life
Lockhart was a huge tragedy and many people should have been held accountable, but never were. Many done their best to get resolve, however there were too many connected people involved as you know.
Best wishes Snoop
