QF Back to Hamilton Island.....and Coffs Harbour
For those who haven't seen it......
QF 737's to operate:
SYD HTI Wednesdays and Sundays, Saturdays during Peak season
MEL CFS Saturdays
I guess thats technically 'growth'???

I'm actually stunned (and happy for) mainline operating these routes. But what was even more strange was the MEL-CFS sector operated by QF rather than JQ as a 'leisure' destination.
Whilst not operated by mainline, the Sydney-Hervey Bay route looks like it will be 717s with J seats (I'm only assuming this as the all economy 71s couldn't realistically be rotated through Sydney).
Maybe this will be the beginning of QF cannabilising JQ routes.

DancingDog They must not see easter as being " peak season". Booked Sydney-Coffs and its still a Q400. VA using E190 same place same days but couldn't justify the additional $200 return.
Dog. It's Melbourne-Coffs.
