overcapacity into ZQN ?
NZ are having a sale & included is BNE/ZQN/BNE from around $420 return inc taxes.
Last time we looked, nothing under $600-$700 return.
Either bookings are really slower than expected (winter olympics usually makes people book their ski holidays earlier) or too many flights (VA/NZ have daily BNE/ZQN/BNE during winter).
Don't understand why JQ, have never flown BNE/ZQN when they did try OOL/ZQN.

getting from BNE to snow in OZ or NZ has always been a challenge or expensive, although when JQ did OOL/ZQN few years back it got really cheap as they couldn't sell it, so dumped seats before pulling out.
Australian ski resorts have suffered, as many Qlders have gone to NZ.
Look at options in Australia:-
BNE/SYD/MHU messy & relatively expensive due to SYD/MHU sector
BNE/SYD/ABX as above
BNE/CBR but capacity has just been cut by both QF & VA on weekends.
BNE/MEL ?
