Qantas is saved...
Unlike crazy airlines investing in 777's and other stupid stuff, Qantas is forging ahead in the marketplace and spending money where it counts:

Qantas signs Miranda Kerr as new ambassador

Conversely I suppose, in relation to just everything else they put their money into this almost stands out as brilliant move.
