Question Jetstar A320 endorsement

Hi All
I've noticed in a couple of threads about Jetstar NZ a sign on bonus for A320 endorsed pilots. Does this mean if you had no previous jet time you could pay for your own A320 endo (cheaper than provided by Jetstar) and then get the sign on bonus? Or do you have to have time on type as well?

Does this clause exist in the Australian EBA?

Cheers

I dont think you can do your own endo and then sign-up. I asked the same Q and they will only accept an Aussie trained endo.

Unfortunately, this means unless you have time on type from elsewhere then it is most likely a waste of money for you.

??? Convert NZ licence to Australian and go do your rating in Australia?
You have to get a Auz licence anyway if you work for them.
