Reckon they should just put the "Q" in the rack and forget about trying to tie it into an identity synonymous with QF. It just doesn't really promote any kind of relevance. Sigh!

I can see it now, the wealthy Chinese exec telling his mates over a beer at the golf club how he's about to book a flight with "LED CLU".
How long do you think Red Q will survive when their target clientel can't even pronounce their name?
What a bunch of NIMRODS this lot of management are.

Dynamic Ribbons

What was the name painted on the SPs when they flew into Taiwan ?
Was it Air Asia or Asian Air.?..something like that.
Far Q seems to be the most appropriate considering the circumstances

Australia Asia airlines.

I quite liked the dynamic ribbon on their aircraft. Perhaps it will make a comeback? Or will the aircraft be all-white with a big, red Q at the back? Probably, knowing the lack of vision and imaginative capacity of these people.

It's a pity Suckling Airways is already taken. It would have done quite nicely for Jetstar!
Air ticket Suckling Airways - ScotAirways - AirValid ®

blow.n.gasket, I think you're confusing the Chinese with the Japanese - two very different clienteles!

No a bad idea actually - that might gain traction with the local market if and only if the PLAAF don't have some sort of copyright/patent/legal restriction on its use!!
