Hoax bomb threat on Virgin plane at Sydney Airport
A passenger was arrested after making a hoax bomb threat on a Virgin Australia flight in Sydney this morning.
An airline spokesman said the passenger made the threat as flight DJ402 from Sydney to Adelaide was taxiing to the runway ahead of taking off, about 6.45am.
Australian Federal Police (AFP) officers were called and boarded the aircraft, arresting the passenger.

The remaining 40 passengers on board were made to get off the plane and were being transferred to other flights throughout the day, the spokesman said.
The AFP said in a statement there was no danger to the public.
A Sydney Airport spokesman said no other flight departures or arrivals were disrupted.
