Ross Greenwood was just on CH 9 saying he has been given names of the consortium that is going to take over the airline.
He specifically named "senior ex QF executives who are cashed up after a recent business sale"
This can only mean Dixon and Gregg who have just sold GAAM for a few billion.
Bet Singo is involved too.

That media statement that TIMA posted is kind of funny, AJ says he can not see why people are talking down the Qantas brand and its share price.
The way I see it, he and his PR machine are the only ones talking down the brand and subsequent share prices.
I would put a carton on their plans having changed quite considerably since the politicians have stated "NO" to what AJ and company are planning, big back pedal now.
I thought 24AUG was supposed to be the dawning of a new age.

What do we have to earn for our shareholders to receive a dividend?????
Or is this the way to p&%s of our shareholders, so when a takeover bid does come along, they`ll almost accept anything. Is it correct to assume the Board & our mate won`t be getting bonus`s etc, due to the dismal $550 million profit.

Today I wanted to post as much of the hype in the daytime media as possible for the record, so as all of us can compare the media view points before tonight's ABC 7.30/Lateline reports which are not reliant on advertising.
It appears Steve Creedy does a better job for Qantas than its CEO. (which does not surprise me.)
Oh Steve, "a bounce of 8% in this morning's share price." Wasn't that yesterday?
As it turns out, a bit of a nothing day, down 1.3 % weird...

I agree with Ken regarding the unacceptable language. I expect better from those that profess to being professionals. 
I also agree with every user's right to express their opinion and expect you to accept that opinion, whether you agree or not.
