Qantas Deprives Australia and Australians
Qantas is depriving Australians of a world class airline with a world class international network.Qantas continues to deprive Australians a choice of destinations by removing them.Qantas continues to deprive the mum and dad shareholders of not only a dividend but is also destroying their shareholder value.Qantas is denying Australian children the opportunity to work as pilots,cabin crew,engineers and ground staff by off shoring these positions.
The CEO is a foreign philistine who has no emotional connection with Australia or Qantas.This foreigner is provoking Australians into taking protected industrial action which is turn going to disrupt the travel plans of other Australians.
How on earth can Qantas insist "we still call Australia home" when it clearly is not?
Australians never used to tolerate such anti Australian behaviour.
Why are we tolerating it now?
Joyce,this foreigner, is set on destroying one of the few icons we have left in this country.Once Qantas is destroyed this stranger will leave,return to Ireland and take his ill gotten millions with him.

Their not. Australians by their very nature are slow to get involved, or excited about most things, but there a few things nobody dares touch, (1) are the Anzacs, ((2) the National Carrier, they will whinge and complain about it and the staff, but let a outsider do the same thing and they will close ranks. I saw it time and time again up the track, all moaning about the company, until someone from another airline agrees with them, and they are then told smartly to get nicked. (Especially if they were BA or TE)! Ask any MP what happened when Dixon tried to flog the airline of to MacBank their offices just about buckled under the emails that came in totally against it. Outrage, fury, they had been woken out of their stupor, and reacted accordingly. You can go on, different footy codes etc, the Australian cricket side, things that are so totally Australian, so embedded in the psyche, of the Australian people, you would be a brave man to destroy it. QF is one of them.

What about Nepotism and the fact that it has been rife through, not just the pilot recruitment department, but throughout all departments? What about the many Australian pilots who were denied joining because of absolutely rediculous reasons? What about the many Australian pilots who made decisions to go overseas for their careers because Qantas would not take them? I can think of numerous people to blame and it's not all AJ. You have people among your ranks which have contributed to your present demise. All I can say now is "thank you" for not employing me Qantas. I do however feel for my mates who are stuck flying for QF in this mess.
