very clever marketing & even if it is a little 007-ish
That's the whole point - it is a direct copy of a 007 movie intro. Cool Britannia and all that - probably filmed at Pinewood Studios!
Too bad that VA is no great shakes when you actually fly them (in EY anyway) - better than JQ tho........

I think you'll find the marketing ploy is based on that fact that bond is associated with the glamorous romantic image of the 60s; the golden era of aviation travel, when it was still special to fly. Be good to see everything else follow the suit.
