Port Moresby

My Irish Times this morning is advertising a new partnership between Etihad Airwyas and Virgin Blue indicating Port Morseby as a Virgin Blue destination.
Does Virgin Blue currently fly to POM and who else does besides Air Nuigini ?

Descol,

Yes, Virgin fly Brisbane - Port Moresby on their own schedule (DJ),
and codeshare Airlines of PNG (CG),{not Air New Guinea - Air Nuiguini - (PX)} on the same service.

Airlines of PNG pax get a meal box on boarding, Virgin pax pay for meals if they want them.

APNG / CG only operate DHC-8 on international sectors such as POM - CNS,
POM - BNE is better suited to jets and APNG do not have any at this stage.
