Post Matariki Paxing

Can anyone understand what the recent council newsletter means? Why wasn't this sorted out during negotiations? The CMG knew about this surely.

It came out the other day. Should be in the mail but you can always email ALPA and ask for a copy.

I think the translation is "..Bend over and squeal like a pig..."

You're probably right cribble, but who's making us do the squealing? Wasn't that bit of the contract increased from 4 to 6 hours some time ago? Why didn't the negotiators address this instead of giving us a "concession free" pay rise? Perhaps they 'conceded' Business Class paxing on the regional jet without telling us and are now pretending to defend our rights. Not a good look!
The 'Men of Steel' who told us there is no such thing as a free pay rise might have had a point.
